Braxton Pulley, D.C.
My wife and I moved with our daughter to set down some roots in Des Moines back in 2003. I opened my office early the next year, and we got busy becoming a part of this community. Both Abra and I are heavily involved in multiple organizations throughout the metro including Childrenís Cancer Connection, the Historic East Village board, Regional Workforce Board for Region 11, Lupus Foundation Iowa Chapter, and Dynamic Sports University to name a few.
Along with my chiropractic office, I also travel as a national speaker for NCMIC discussing business development with students. Teaching has been a passion of mine since I was young, and I was given the opportunity to by an adjunct faculty member at William Penn University for 6 years.
With our continued involvement in the community, Abra and I have been honored to receive several awards the last few years. My office was selected as the Business of the Year for the East Des Moines Chamber of Commerce in 2011. Abra was given an award from the same group for being the volunteer of the year. This year, I was chosen as the Best Chiropractor in Des Moines by voters at CityView, and Abra was a runner up for Best Yoga Instructor of the Year.
My wifeís mother has been working with her gluten intolerance for a number of years, and we found out 3 years ago that Abra also has significant challenges with wheat. Consequently, we have learned to adapt and work with a challenging dietary restriction to have in this country.
