Amy Ratner, editor of Gluten-Free Living, has been researching and writing about the gluten-free diet for nearly two decades. She joined the magazine when it first started publishing shortly after her then two-year-old daughter was diagnosed with celiac disease. Amy has covered all aspects of the gluten-free diet and lifestyle, with expertise on ingredients, labeling, medical news, nutrition and more. She is a member of the board of the American Celiac Disease Alliance.
She is also active in the gluten-free social media world, where she blogs about both news and personal experiences for Gluten-Free Living. The magazineís Twitter and Facebook pages are read by thousands of followers.
Amy was a newspaper reporter, magazine editor and freelance writer before joining Gluten-Free Living. She received her bachelorís degree in journalism from Pennsylvania State University and has won several newspaper writing awards. Her daughter, Amanda, was diagnosed with celiac disease 20 years ago.
