The show is not 100% free from any potential allergen, as it is hosted in a multi-use venue. All visitors must be aware of their health situation, take appropriate precautions and carry necessary medication.
The show is meant to meet the needs of people with a diverse array of health conditions. All products are gluten free however, many booths do contain other allergens.
Not all items at the show are certified gluten-free. Also, some items are made in shared facilities but meet certification and government requirements. It is up to each individual to read labels before using, consuming or purchasing products.
You know your health situation better than anyone else. If you are not able to tolerate a product, do not sample.

Baking and cooking low carb food that is healthy and tastes great takes some practice, but it's a worthwhile endeavor. Learn the basics of nourishing mind and body to prevent/treat diabetes, obesity, inflammation, arthritis/depression, insomnia, body pain, headaches and other chronic diseases. Learn the core principles of incorporating nutrient dense foods, stress management techniques and essential supplements to nourish yourself.
Cindy has been a type 1 diabetic for 42 years and have longed for good tasting, low carb, sugar free food that is “clean” and gluten free. It was through a school project that she developed her business and found that it fits my vision and mission: to help others like enjoy life by enjoying healthy and tasty food.
Deepa Deshmukh, MPH, RD, BC-ADM, CDE
Deepa Deshmukh, MPH, RD, BC-ADM, CDE has a unique background that includes training in food science and nutrition. As one of only a handful of dietitians nationwide who are board certified in advanced diabetes management, her clinical expertise is second to none. She is also a certified diabetes educator and holds certificates in Adult Weight Management. She also provides insulin pump training and Diabetes Self Management Education for those coping with diabetes. Deepa is a member of Dietitians in Integrative and Functional Medicine. She is also on a content expert panel for the American Association of Diabetes Educators.
Many of Deepa’s recommendations are based on the principles of the ancient “Ayurvedic System of Medicine” where the focus is on healing and nourishing the body and mind by eating natural and wholesome foods. Her passion for wholesome food is evident by her ability to create recipes using in-season and natural ethnic ingredients that fit into one’s daily lifestyle. Dr. Heather has been in practice for over 20 years doing nutritional healing. Her practice encompasses everyone from newborns to seniors. She treats a multitude of disorders with a focus on auto-immune, thyroid and gastrointestinal maladies. She has been working with patients on changing their nutritional lifestyles to prevent illness and improve their overall wellness.

Peter HR Green, MD is the Phyllis and Ivan Seidenberg Professor of Medicine at the College of Physicians and Surgeons, Columbia University and Director of The Celiac Disease Center at Columbia University.
Dr. Green received his medical degree from University of Sydney, Australia. After completing his Residency and GI fellowship in Sydney he became a Research fellow at Harvard Medical School and in the Gastroenterology Department at the Beth Israel Hospital in Boston. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and the American College of Gastroenterology as well as a Member of the American Gastroenterologic Association and American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. In addition, he has lectured on celiac disease at many medical institutions throughout the United States as well as national and international meetings.
