The show is not 100% free from any potential allergen, as it is hosted in a multi-use venue. All visitors must be aware of their health situation, take appropriate precautions and carry necessary medication.
The show is meant to meet the needs of people with a diverse array of health conditions. All products are gluten free however, many booths do contain other allergens.
Not all items at the show are certified gluten-free. Also, some items are made in shared facilities but meet certification and government requirements. It is up to each individual to read labels before using, consuming or purchasing products.
You know your health situation better than anyone else. If you are not able to tolerate a product, do not sample.

Class: "Gluten is Hidden in More Than Food!" While serving the Gluten & Allergy Free Community, Elizabeth Anthony Gronert has learned many are still plagued with external and internal symptoms after eliminating gluten & allergens from their food. Class:"Gluten, Beyond the GUT. Part II" This is a very powerful and informative presentation to learn how gluten has its effects outside the intestinal tract. You will learn how gluten affects your body, which organs and tissues it can affect and how to test and treat it.

Class:“Liver Health. Who Knew?” We all know the liver is one of those abdominal organs… but who knew it was so important in digestion and health? In this presentation, we will review the main functions of the liver, uncover the intricate role it plays in digestion, discuss auto-immune related liver diseases among others, and provide ways to keep you healthy. Attendees will leave with a better understanding of their liver and the importance of nutritional health. (Booth 905)

Dr. Madrid has been in clinical practice for 30 years as a chiropractor. Over the last 3-4 years, he has attained professional certifications in Functional Diagnostic Nutrition, Functional Medicine and Celiac/Gluten Disorders. He is a listed healthcare provider on the Celiac Disease Foundation website.
As a practicing clinician, he continues to stay abreast on the latest scientific research as it pertains to these chronic conditions to better help his patients and the public. Kara Kunz is the Community Outreach & Education Manager for the American Liver Foundation’s Desert Southwest Division. She oversees the Liver Wellness, Love Your Liver, Teens to Twenties, Viral Hepatitis, and Ask The Experts program series for the division. As a person living with Celiac Disease for 8 years now, Kara has a passion for nutrition and is completing her Nutrition Communication degree at Arizona State University.
